The Holidays

It has been so long since I have posted. I thought I'd stay with it, but honestly I forgot all about it until now. I have tons of pictures I could post but I can't get to them right now.

Just an update on our Holidays.

Thanksgiving was great! We spent some time at the American Legion with my Mom and Don in the morning. My mom danced around the entire place with Henry almost putting him to sleep ;) We then went to my Aunt Bonnie Jean's for lunch and Henry definitely got lots of attention. In the evening we ventured up to Robby's dad's for supper and enjoyed time with his family. Henry did great and loved all the attention he got!

Christmas was an exciting time since this was his first Thanksgiving and he got to spend it with all his family. We started by picking Brenton up Christmas Eve morning and then drove up to Robby's dad's so the boys could spend sometime with them. We left there around 3 and got back to my mom's for Christmas with my family. I was so excited to have all three babies there to spend Christmas together. Henry (March), Micah (April), and Jenna (May) loved tackling, pulling hair, and pushing each other over. Robby took Brenton back Christmas morning while Henry and I went to the Christmas service at church. I'll have to post pictures of him in his Christmas suit. He was one handsome little boy.

New Year's Eve was spent at my sister's house. My Mom and Don took on the challenge of keeping Henry at their house so we wouldn't have to keep him up too late. Apparently he kept them up anyway ;) We had a wonderful time, but I missed Henry the whole time. At about 12:15 when we got home I almost went and picked him up. I kept looking at his crib and he wasn't there :( I ended up falling asleep very quickly and before I knew it my mom was knocking on the door and he was home!!

We had the best holidays and I'm so glad we got to spend it with Henry. I am so excited for this New Year and all the things we are going to get to experience!

Learning New Things...

Henry and daddy were having fun last night. Daddy was showing Henry how to fly! My two cuties! Love these boys.

Henry is trying so hard to sit up on his own. Unfortunately he just ends up falling face first to the floor most times.

This picture cracks me up. It looks like he's trying to do a mind trance or something.

And to finish off the pictures...My handsome little man. We have so much fun!!

Henry loves his swing...for about 15 minutes! I haven't taken many pictures lately, but thought I'd share a couple with you. I'll be sure to post pictures on Henry's 5 month birthday in a couple days.

A Late Start...

HENRY: RULER OF THE HOUSEHOLD

This is a perfect name for our little man. We had decided on a few names and for some reason just kept changing it. Henry was going to be: Wilson or Owen. We knew we wanted to him to be named after my dad, but we had just planned on giving him the middle name Michael. After talking about it we decided to switch my dad's name around and use Henry Michael. (My dad's name was Michael Henry). We love it! It just fit him right from the beginning. Henry is wonderful for so many reasons. I wish I would have started this when he was born, but for some reason I never took the time to do it. There are so many things I could say, but to start I think I'm just going to post a few pictures showing how fast the time has gone.

Henry has gotten so big over the last 4.5 months! And his name fits him perfectly! He rules this house and we are so blessed to have him here with us. I never knew I could love a little boy this much or that I could feel his love without words. He puts a smile on my face and we have the best time.
